We believe it is God's design for parents to assume the lead role in training their children. Therefore, it is our desire to partner with God and your family to provide a safe & loving environment that encourages children to experience the prescence of Jesus and provides opportunities for them to bless God. Our prayer is that the children of Joy of Life would get so excited about Jesus that their testimony would be that they, like Samuel, have served God all the days of their lives.
Our children's classes are structured as follows:
Nursery:Ages birth to 2 years. Located in Room 104 For our infants up to 2 years old, we have chosen a complete nursery program designed to nurture infants and walkers physically, emotionally and spiritually. Each month a new Bible-based concept is introduced to the child, which includes a brief Bible lesson, a simplified Bible verse, an activity & a prayer.
Children's Church:Ages 2-3 years. Located in Room 103 2 and 3 year-olds aren't always ready to absorb abstract theological concepts, but they certainly understand that Jesus loves and cares for them. We have chosen a curriculum that presents Bible truths in a fresh and interactive setting that capitalizes on a child's need to experience life with all of their senses. It's our goal for these little ones to know the love of Christ!
Jr. Kid's Church:Ages 4yrs-Kindergarten. Located in Room 102 We believe God is using our preschoolers in ministry NOW...not someday when they get big!!! Therefore, our goal is to provide church at an age-appropriate level for your preschoolers. Incorporating lots of hands-on learning, prayer, worship, Bible illustrations and the basic need for fun, we explore who God is and how we can worship Him in everything we do.
Kid's Church:1st-6th grade. Located on the Lower Level of the Worship Center. Kid's Church provides children with the opportunity to seek the face of God, abandon themselves in worhsip, minister to their peers and grow in their faith. Our focus is to give kids the tools necessary to walk the walk and talk the talk...setting a standard that equips them to live a life of holiness.
